Welcome to the new Sons of Confederate Veterans, Confederate History Month Committee. Created last year by CiC McMichaels its purpose is to promote Confederate History Month Proclamations, Events and News coverage.
We enourage all Camps, Brigades and Divisions to request Confederate Heritage and History Month Procalamation from your State and local governments. Distribute these to the media, schools and the public. We will try and provide assistance where feasible.
Initially we will be providing Confederate History Month Minutes, short articles for each day of the month that cen be submitted to the media and others. Sample Proclamations and a few pre-recorded Confederate Heritage Month Minutes as downloadable mp3 audio files.
Please pass this announcement on to your Compatriots. To signup for updates from this website click on the Newsletter link on the lefthand column. During April, May and June you will get an average of fibe updates a week, during the rest of the year an average of one update a month.
