April 4, 2009: Stone Dedication: The Jefferson Davis #1862 SCV Camp: Will held a historical headstone dedication in honor of Confederate Veteran, John N. Munn of Company C of the 36th Mississippi Infantry. This solemn occasion took place at the Hickory Cemetery at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 4th.  After the service all interested will dined  ("Dutch Treat") at the legendary Davey's Restaurant for some mighty fine Southern Cuisine prepared by Mrs. Broomfield and her staff. Civil War Ball
April 4, Richmond, Virginia
The Capital of the Confederacy Ball, at Richmond's Historic Bolling Haxall House, 211 E. Franklin St., 8 to 12 pm, proceeds to benefit the Museum of the Confederacy and the Richmond Battlefields Association.   Period music, dance instruction, food, libations, lovely ladies, handsome gentlemen, convivial company, period dress or black tie suggested.   There was also be a reception at the Museum of the Confederacy Friday night, April 3, from 7 to 10 pm.   Sponsored by the J.E.B. Stuart Memorial Foundation, Richmond, VA.
